Living in Da Nang, Vietnam is a digital nomad’s dream.
Gorgeous beaches, mouth watering street food and non-stop action make this oceanside city one of the most popular digital nomad destinations worldwide. There are cafes and coworking spaces aplenty, plus some of the best (and cheapest!) coffee you’ll ever have. If you’re looking for somewhere to work remotely in Da Nang, there’s no shortage of options.
This list of top places to work remotely in Da Nang includes both working cafes and more traditional coworking spaces, as well as some tips for how to make the most of your time as a Da Nang digital nomad. So let’s jump right in!

Best Places to Work Remotely in Da Nang: Cafes and Coffee Shops
This western-style speciality coffee shop is on the pricier side (at least by local standards), but ended up being our favorite place to work remotely in Da Nang. It’s a popular place for both locals and expats and the space is large, so you don’t have to worry about taking up a table all day. We felt very welcome working there and we were accompanied by many other people with laptops.
The other big pro is there are plenty of plugs and the most bright, inspiring atmosphere with a real tree through the middle of the cafe. Make sure you try the coconut coffee–a modern twist on the Vietnamese classic!
Bread N Salt has a similar vibe to 43 Factory: it’s upscale, with air con and spacious seating, a full menu, and lots of space to work. This is a newer cafe that opened in 2019. It is also a bit on the pricier side but the coffee is great, the atmosphere is A+, and it’s an easy place to stay for hours with your laptop.
If you’re living in Da Nang, you’ll likely hear about Mua Coffee. It’s popular for a reason! This local spot has a great vibe, with reliable wifi and two floors of indoor and outdoor seating.
Note that most of the seating is outdoors and this is definitely a much more local spot. There are a few good seats with plugs but it’s typically a cafe I would only work at for a shorter period of time.
Having just moved to a new and upgraded space, Wonderlust continues to be popular with Da Nang digital nomads and locals. This coffee shop serves up a full menu of drinks and sweets and there’s lots of seating available. And I mean common, just look at how bright and charming this cafe looks!
With two convenient locations (city and riverside), this air conditioned cafe is a great place to escape the heat and get some work done. We typically worked at the one on the city side as it was bigger. There are plugs all along the walls here as well and they have AMAZING egg coffee (in my opinion).
For a while now, this has been a go to spot for one of the best places to work remotely in Da Nang. This restaurant is very popular with expats for some of their western meal options also. The seating is comfortable, there are more than enough power outlets, and the wifi is great.
The one thing I will say is that I didn’t enjoy any of the coffees or drinks from them and they are definitely overpriced. If you come to work here, it’s most likely just for a place to work not for the best coffee.
Gozar Coffee is one of the most underrated places to work remotely in Da Nang, offering both indoor and outdoor seating. This is a very small cafe but it has a great outdoor garden area. It is more of a local spot with super cheap and great coffee.
The only con is the sometimes obnoxiously loud music–a common problem in Vietnamese cafes, but easily fixed with a pair of noise cancelling headphones! Typically we would go to Gozar every morning just to grab a cheap take-away coffee or an afternoon pick me up.
This newer cafe is my personal favourite place to work remotely in Da Nang. Tucked into a quiet alley, Hideout has a calm and peaceful atmosphere (all too rare in Vietnam!). Reliable wifi and delicious food make this spot near perfect. Don’t miss the egg coffee – it’s my favorite spot for egg coffee!
Located in the expat neighbourhood of An Thuong, Aspace is new to the coworking scene, but does offer a work space. To be honest it is basically a big room with some tables and an onsite cafe but it was dimly lit and was not as nice of a vibe as many of our favorite cafes.
If you’re looking to become a part of the Da Nang digital nomad community, you can also attend one of their expat events. Day passes start at $7 USD/day.
Enouvo is a more established Da Nang coworking space, with high speed internet, meeting rooms, printers, a lounge area, support staff, and a tea and coffee bar. They also offer a co-living space for Da Nang digital nomads.
One thing to keep in mind is that Enouvo is located in a local neighbourhood north of An Thuong, so it’s not walkable if you are living in An Thuong and it’s not always the quietest–make sure to bring headphones! Desks start at $4.50 USD/day, and monthly rates at $96 USD/month.

hi, i'm Amanda
Three years ago, I chose to quit my corporate 9-to-5, sold all my belongings, and booked a one-way ticket to Thailand. I had no real plan—just a burning desire to see the world and a bone-deep certainty that there was more to life than my mind-numbing day job.
Since then I have started multiple business ventures including LLCo. which has scaled to over $1 million dollars in 2 years, and has helped hundreds of women from all over the world build profitable online businesses, defy expectations, and create a freedom lifestyle on their terms—no one else’s.
Every day you get to choose again as to how you will live your life - and every defining moment will come down to just that, a choice.
Here’s the thing - your past story, knowledge, and experiences may have shaped you to be where you are now, but they don’t have to define where you go next.
